good morning caaa how are you welcome to Athens thank you so much for coming and I hope you're going to enjoy this day welcome to besides Athens welcome to a community based event which means everybody's a volunteer and trying to get this done for the community by the community we have an exciting light up of talks today for you uh my name is Dr Gregorius ragos but you can call me Greg it's fine uh so welcome to security besides Athens thank you for coming uh apologies for the uh slow registation process but we try to adapt to uh the uh entry of the venue anyone who did not get uh their lyard and the badge and their t-shirt

you will do uh later on you can just go outside s your ticket and you'll get your stuff your bags are already made we did this in order to save some time and get people inside um we have a few surprises for you today and we actually have an insane announcement to make uh it's a global thing uh my friend there will uh tell you in a bit after the keynote these are the previous sponsors who have supported this event and we would like to thank them for their support in the previous years but this year again for one more time we have 12 Tech and these are the people who are the companies that help us make this

endorsed and supported by an small big now before uh we go further on we're all volunteers as I said so if you want to be part of what we are trying to do and what we are doing please do come and volunteer step up for next year we have many roles we want to make this event even better and better and better we are focusing on quality team so we want to have this kind of event but with amazing people uh and run smoothly every year now the core team is here these are the people that make things happen and these for this year are the volunteers that are with us in order to make all

this thing happen there is a lot of work a lot of meetings a lot of coordination in order to make sure everything works on the day yes we will make some small mistakes maybe there is small delays here and there but um we're not a corpor event as I said so we're trying our best to make a day that is very interesting Pleasant uh and hopefully amazing for you as you know when you participate to security bides events your um badge qualifies for 10 cpes uh for those who collect the points for certifications however because in the past few years we have um a way of sending out the certifications to people in a digital format we will be mailing

you within 4 weeks your certificate of your participation uh you can do whatever you want with it you can use it for the P or you can use it um for I don't know hanging on your wall being proud for being here and supporting the community Al maybe you want to flex to somebody that You' been here so they can come next year this next so those who booked the limited edition uh hoodie uh for this year we did this in order to increase participation this is the um limited edition of 2 that we created and our t for this year I hope you like the design of the T-shirt uh some people booked previous

year's t-shirts the little T roan horse which is an iot and the chemical uh symbols security pides now before we start there is a free Wi-Fi for Baki you can connect and you have Wi-Fi if you don't know how to do it you can simply scan this QR code and get onto the Wi-Fi emergency exits are this way so you can go to your right now the restrooms once you go outside and you go to the stairs one fly stairs downstairs it's the the restrooms so if you want the restrooms there are one uh level down H don't take the elevator it's a lot easier just have a fly of sh stairs down so take the

trying to do in besides a we're trying to get you speak fures that if you were to go and listen to them you have to spend thousands of Euros to go to RSA to go to S Francisco to go to Chicago to go to all over the world so what do we do we focus in bringing the best of the best Greek and non-greeks from around the world in Athens and have this amazing amazing day one of them that is uh the man the legend and all the legend that comes after it is Eric aord so I cannot stress enough how lucky you are to have Eric in this room presenting the keynote you have no de clue right so um

anything that you work on today Eric has done it I'm not going to say has built it but has been there he's not so um I would like to introduce you to Eric a who our keynote speaker he's a man that has done a few things that are insanely awesome I will let him take you through because I don't know how much I should say how much I'm not supposed to say in this case um and that's it h after the event we will be uh downstairs at the bar there's a bar at the back of the museum we're going to grab a beer if you want to join us get to meet the people get to meet the

speakers get to meet the people people that sit next to you you're all going to work together one day in the next few years because it's a small community and you are the Professionals of this community ladies and gentlemen
