uh so I'd like to introduce our next speaker B beta he currently serves on the board of New Mexico Technology counil Council and is a CEO of the Tech 34 welcome

pH all right good morning you mentioned my name is Phil and uh I had the privilege of sitting on the New Mexico Tech Council board for the past seven years and really the goal is very similar to what Mark mentioned ear and that is that collaboration that mind share so I'm here to briefly just kind of introduce what we do at Council uh really we're the Catalyst for collaboration for Education networking with entrepreneurs researchers and Tech uses and really the way that we get a lot of our goals accomplished are for different events that we um a lot of events we'll see are held on a monthly basis for sure uh but a lot of

networking opportunities as well so I'm here to briefly mention just two um the first one is our Flagship event it's the New Mexico Tech Summit and the New Mexico Tech Summit is really um a great opportunity for everyone here to attend there's going to be 45 breakout sessions five tracks and we typically see 600 plus attendees every year so consistently year after year it's been working out very well this year be held Tuesday September 10th from 10 to 6:30 and it's going to be held at the CDE Hotel um downtown five hotels old high buing and so then the other event that we want to mention is our flying 40s have any of you heard of either of these

events special see just a few and that's why we're here is to really edate talk about what we do hopefully you can all attend but the flying 40 Awards um that's that's a great event for over 25 years uh they've recognized locally owned company and operated tech companies that are really diversifying the economy and and have that opportunity so they have different awards that are presented those that are just startups those that showing increase in Revenue year after year a really good event and this year is Thurs same week Tuesday will be the tech Summit and then that Thursday September 12th from 5 to 8:30 of the ABQ biop Park is where it's going to be held
