uh good morning bid London how are you excellent um quick show of hands whose first b-size London is this blim me not all of you come on wow okay whose first bides okay this is our 14th Edition Where Have You Been right any so this year's logo has been a bit controversial mostly most people like it what do you think excellent there's two people I know who don't like it and it makes it even more funnier um okay so um if you haven't been to a bze before um pretty informal nothing really to worry about um got some house rules though just got to go through the house rules and get those out the way and then we'll go for the

fun stuff which there is some so first thing is there's no plan fire alarms today so if you hear a fire alarm what sounds like a fire alarm um please make your way to a fire exit um they do say walk for some reason all the signs have some suspicious guy running but um your safety is the most important thing just get out don't worry about anything else don't try and tackle a fire just do it uh the second thing is wello thanks turning up um the second thing is we have a code of conduct um unfortunately where you got a large Gathering of people now we need to have one of these if you feel you need to

have a set of rules written down to understand how you should behave when you meet other people in a civilized environment you're probably at the wrong venue because uh we kind of expect people to know uh but basically it's don't be a dick you know don't harass people don't annoy people just be sensible normal in other words behave yourself um you we spent 10 months doing this our tolerance our tolerance is quite low um so uh please just get on with each other if you have any issues report um report it to someone with one of these t-shirts on and we'll try and deal with it and um keep it out of papers that' be the most important

thing more importantly you've got computers with you laptops money people other things with you we can't guarantee it safety if you leave it lying around and someone else decides they want it we we can't be responsible so keep your eye on your stuff and your children we don't want those give not after last year um one one of the bits of feedback we got last year was um how do you how we know where things are so this year we've um we've done something quite clever I think it's quite clever which we've developed floor plans okay how's that and to find those you can go to our website bid. London where am I and you'll get the floor

plans there's also a version you can download offline if you want to save your battery or you don't want to use the internet much you can download them off that so you should know where things are and they are up to date I updated them last night so they were good um basically where we are is here we're in the clappy monkey track next door there will be track two and that'll be track three um cross the way we got the rookie track one and two worksh shops one and two over there obviously registration on the mesine floor which is the one below we then have um the villages we got the battle bots aren they are they car

Village we got the um yeah airospace unfortunately BattleBots haven't been able to make it so I haven't updated that slide no mind um we got the quantum Village and also we got work 3 and four Workshop 4 from 12:30 be the malware Village so you be just go there if you want and on the ground floor we have the sponsor Hall and we got the train hacking Village and the lock picking Village and we've got an information desk which isn't there it's actually next to the selfie bear there's some banners around up here and downstairs you get your selfie with a bear please do it why not you only live once uh more importantly this is this

one's quite important so between lunch lunch is served downstairs between 12: to 2 we have enough lunch for everyone if you rush down at 12:00 you're going to be in a queue so we've tried to stagger the talks anything like that so if you talk any time between that time you will get fed if it's busy take go around come back later yeah so or Q it's your choice you were told um we have a capture of the flag um to enter the capture of the flag you need to go to a website now there's a QR code I know you you all trust me come on it's fine um come on on um you will need a password

for it to get the password to log on to the website go down to the information desk they will tell you the password you just don't want to put up on a website um they'll also give you that URL as well you to go to that as well um so there's lots of things going on with the CTF the more challenges will be added during the day one of the challenges is actually in your brochure and apparently it's an easy one I haven't seen it yet so feel free to have a go at that um and we'll see how we get one of that in the end of the day more importantly when you're doing the

CTF unless you own it or being permissioned to interfere with it simply don't okay just simply anyone going after the Wi-Fi network on the in the in the uh the venue we will find you oh yeah oh yeah it won't end well for you don't attack it it's not good the other thing as well is if you see Bluetooth devices and stuff like that some people got medical devices which use Bluetooth don't play that with Bluetooth simply don't cuz again it won't ever all for you we will find you okay um now the fun stuff if that wasn't fun enough oh yeah don't pick on the TOs um sponsors our sponsors um enable us to

same thing we be the information desk don't mind you got free tickets if you want to donate some money we would kindly take your money in electronic form or cash we don't mind um and last year we raised nearly £4,000 it would be really good this year if we can get somewhere near there or double it double it triple it let's where's your ambition man where's your ambition triple it I shave my head yeah there you go triple it triple if you triple it he'll shave his head that's worth the money come on just a bit over 11 Grand anyone has a um we we we'll have say if you want to give donations we'll take your donations

there'll be some stuff downstairs which we're going to be selling throughout the day um some T-shirts and some other stuff might have some bears uh and we also got raffle so um at closing speech tonight we've got uh some raffle tickets for sale down there which I haven't given them yet so go to the information I'll get the rush down there get those ruffle tickets they be the information desk ask for ruffle tickets buy all of them we'll make those money for cc research and hopefully we can make a difference and you'll win stuff uh so we got load stuff loads of stuff to give away so the vendors have donated we got airpods from um grey log Tesco have
