hi and welcome and welcome to b-sides dundee's first b-side this is taking two years in the making there was a thing called a pandemic in the middle that pushed it back but we're here and i'm glad to see all of you and welcome we've got some [Applause] we have got some really good speakers some ones i didn't even know about and some that were really informative but before we get to the speakers i'd like to say thank you to our sponsors without whom this wouldn't be possible so first i'd like to thank logical step they were a cyber security company dealing with the military and finance they've now moved into community so um cyber security helping out a bit by bit and i'd also like to thank adama they came in just when we needed a sponsor um they're specialists in cyber threat management and they're one of the uk's biggest so i'm really grateful to have them on board also lizzie they say when you're organizing a talk you do your wish list so you throw it in the bin i put lizzy at the top of my wishlist i've known about her for years watched her career for years and it happened so i am so grateful and i'm also fc also top of the wish list watched him on the tube never seen him in person so this is absolutely brilliant and i've actually seen bits of the talk he's going to give you it's great you're in for a treat and we'll also like to thank harry from cyberscotland connect harry came to us with a community of people who are here now harry came to us and gave us suggestions he was absolutely brilliant and he was instrumental in getting this done we would i don't want to miss anyone out um sergenter again thank you again for bringing your company along bringing your supporters along i actually heard about you i was um doing some lectures at abate i was an assistant and it was the students that told me about you and they infused so again thank you
