BSides Scotland 2019: Welcome - Rory Alsop

morning everybody welcome to our third besides event in Scotland there's a second one in here but it's very refurbed from last time so it's looking rather nice and we've got a pretty pretty full day the one times we do have is on the kids track one of our sets of speakers unfortunate had to pull out so those of you here with kids the lockpick guys the car hacking village guys and first I've tried I said that'd be very welcoming to Kate's so feel free to to let them go on and play in those teams and we've got a couple of we've got lunch break we've got a coffee break later on as well but generally we're

doing pairs of talks so after our keynote we've got supper talks then a break the cup of talks and coffee then talk to finish the brochure you've got four programs slightly wrong we've replaced Brian with Sean and I think we've got potentially Calum and Thomas might be swapping times so keep an eye on it on who's who's going but it should all work he said hopefully we would not expect any firearm tests so if there are fire alarms actually signage for fire exits is really good and you can follow the light towards the front from that that way there are a number of doors out to Queen Street and if that happens just wait out there and we'll we'll do an

attendee list there are toilets on pretty much every floor and there's workshops running throughout the day context are running a couple of mobile hacking mobile hacking talks JPMorgan will be talking to people they've got a room down in the workshop space as well and even lunch or just after lunch JPMorgan will be running a diversity in Tech Talk up in the Great Hall which is where the kids track will be up until that point I encourage you all to chat to the sponsors during the breaks because they pay for all of this we were not for profit we literally Ryeon them to fund the venue Kate doing everything so please make it worth their while have a chat
