Good morning everybody. Welcome to Bside Exit Doss. We are back. Um some of us this is our third conference in 48 hours and uh barely surviving already. So if you see us having a quick nap in the corner just took us up. We'll be all right. Thank you very much for our principal sponsor, platinum sponsor optimizing it. They believed in doing this again. So we obviously did a good job first time round. But for gold sponsors, inadvertently we got a couple of C's going on. So we've got Cyber CX, Sidia. Sidia was with us last year as a silver sponsor. They've come as a gold sponsor this year. And Orange Cyber Defense. So thank you very much for all

those new businesses sponsoring us. For our silver sponsors, again, we got more sponsors with a C. I don't know how we've really done that. Must be something with that cyber word. So we got Cortex, Outpost 24, Port Swigger, uh, who have got some really cool t-shirts out there. So they're not here to exhibit, but they do have some cool swag. And Silvertech, here's Mr. Silvertech here. So any Silver Siltech services, speak to him. And broad services, Mr. Hackinhub, he's there. Uh, and infoblocks who are upstairs and also on your lanyard and sainsburries. So the CISO uh and the team from Sainsburries. Thank you very much. And also continuing, uh, Infoblocks have sponsored the lanyard. And if you've got

one of our very cool ships, look at these. So if anybody's been to Bides before, you'll know these ships, these sort of things before. So what they've done differently this year, by the way, we're going to do a bit of a blue pizza moment. You go. Thank you very much, Debbie McGee. Okay, so I don't want that as well. Right. So tell me about it. Um, these treasure chests upgrade your badge. So on the reverse of your badge, you'll notice you've got some lovely little silver stripes. If you go to these treasure chests that are spread throughout the conference, dock the ship. Yeah. You see what they did there? And you'll get your blight sequence upgraded. So you'll get

all sorts of new funky functions and discos going on with your badge with your upgrade. And also, thank you very much, University of Exit. Without them, obviously, we wouldn't be this building. um living down in the West Country, our choice of venue to get all your lovely people in is pretty limited. Uh and this is, as you can see, a fantastic venue. Uh also, thank you very much to our community partners. So, we've got quite a few since last time. So, we've got the cluster, which was the Secure Southwest event yesterday. We've got the very very very brand new Southwest Ladies in Cyber. So if you're a female working in this industry or want to work in this

industry and you're in the southwest, so Cornwall up to Bristol, we have other representatives here this weekend to get signed up. But it is a very very very new venture. Um we've got thank you very much women in cyber security. They've helped us with said venture and the ladies of Chelenham in cyber security society again they've been very very supportive on helping that particular new team and community up. Okay. So the key milestones because obviously there's lots of talks and the on your app or the book that you've got live scheduling but the important stuff we got keynotes going to be following us shortly. Uh we got the rookie hour of power and I'm really pleased in every

single room there will be a rookie speaker that means they've never done a public talk before. They might be a very experienced cyber security person but this is the first time they've ventured into this wonderful world of doing this. Be supportive. Please go in there. go and watch what they're talking about. Have a chat with them afterwards. Be supportive, be constructive. Uh we've got various breaks and we've got three key three keynotes and more importantly, you know, speaking as a northerner. Score wars, execute the code. I don't want to see people fighting over jam and cream again. All right. Last year was chaos. Utter chaos. Uh and then speaking of chaos, there's also the after party.

I'll see you there. Okay. Uh we've got these maps spread around, so please don't get lost. We have changed things ever so slightly because we were a bit too spread out last year. So you can see we've got lots of stuff going upstairs. So where we had the sticker stall last year that's there. We've got lots of stuff. Everything you purchase on that stall is going towards charity. Everything. We've also got more raffle prizes which I'm going to talk about in a minute. We've got our bronze sponsors up there. And we've also got the brand new hack pasti portal. All right. Yeah. Yeah. It's very very important that bit. So going back on. So we got stickers. If

you've not seen on our social media the brand new stickers for this year, they're absolutely stoning with what was good last year. Danny has stepped up another notch. We've got more charity prizes. And yes, I went back to Florida and Florida have given me another B-sized Tampa shirt, but they've given me the Stranger Things shirt. So if anybody's seeing that, it's fantastic design. Admittedly, if you're of a certain age, you could probably appreciate a lot more in that shirt with the VHS and all that sort of stuff. Um, we've also got another Formula 1 car. Formula 1 car has been donated by Delinia. Uh, and then we got the new B-side exit poster for this year. And

that was a very, very popular one last year. I did these slides. I should know what order to go in, shouldn't I? There's the Stranger Things design. Uh, we've also got the Fire Cell Club pin. There's magnets as well. Oh, I just want to go back as well to the raffle. For anybody likes Warhammer in the room, we're going to have a Warhammer set. Yes, sir. I know you do. Um, there is going to be a special oneoff BS size exit Warhammer helmet. All right. Wearable. Yes, I guess I some interested people in the room. I knew there would be. Uh, t-shirt swap. If you've got a t-shirt that doesn't fit, same as last year,

please go up to the t-shirt store. We'll swap it. We've also got last year's shirt. Any donation. All right. Obviously, you know, please please give generously. It's for charity. It's not for us. Uh and we've upgraded the dot system as well because having several circles with shades that were very very similar was very confusing last year. So, because we're very simple people, we've got shapes this year. No crayons though. No crayons. Uh and the CTF is live. It's been going since yesterday. It's going very well. Mr. the hacking hub. >> Yeah. >> Yep. Thank you. Uh that's been brought to us by Outpost 24. One amendment to your schedule. Uh Eliza May couldn't make it down. So at 11:40 in this room,

the wonderful Sophia McCall's going to be doing how to hack yourself. All right. So same time, same room, but Sophia is going to be doing that talk instead. Code of condo. Same as normal. Be respectful. Be inclusive. Don't be rude to other people. You don't know what stage they are in their careers. Try to be professional. I know it's the weekend, but you know, first pint doesn't get Portal 6. Chaos consumes. Uh, reporting incidents. Anybody who's wearing the crew shirts, if something is a miss, and I don't mean normal students have come off the street and actually doing any homework. Don't mean that. All right? Because we did, we actually saw students studying yesterday. It was a

bit nuts. Uh, and just be nice. And Chatam House for those who don't know it just mean means if you're having a conversation with somebody and they're sharing something maybe particularly confidential don't go around spreading it and particularly with some of the talks you'll see today. Some of the talks you'll see today we're not recording because they're going to be sharing something pertinent they won't want sharing outside that room. Again please be very respectful of that. And as more and more robot lawnmowers and all that stuff are coming available. Please don't hack them. It's not happened yet, but it's only a matter of time. Uh, and then we've got our first keynote. I know where Heather is

actually visually. Where are you, Heather? Yeah. Right. There you go. Big round of applause for Heather, please.
