foreign folks Doug lease here from Calgary b-sides have you ever wanted to drive a train these days just like a Tesla it's a bunch of electric motors attached to computers but there is still a human at the controls what you're looking at in the bottom of the frame is a motor controller but no ethernet no Wi-fi the computer controls come through a custom signaling protocol over non-wifi radio your mission should you choose to accept it is to come to b-sides on October 20th and 21st and hack the radio waves we'll have workshops on how to convert an Arduino or a Raspberry Pi into a radio transmitter you can also try your newfound skills and any RF hacking tools you have on a real live Tesla just like a Defcon speaking of Defcon this year we'll also have Village iot labs this year's Defcon Village here in Calgary for more Hands-On hacking hope to see you there
