Hello everybody. Hello. Welcome to Lancaster University. Well done for remembering. Well done. I can say L No, that's down the road unfortunately. Right. Uh I need someone to flick the slides. I can flick the slides. But before I do, I need you to name every one of these landmarks. If you Oh, no. Right. This is your organizing team. Some people aren't here today, but if you see these people looking stressed, just smile and wave. Um, we put this on. Hopefully, it's going to be a really good event today. Next slide. I feel like that person in the co That's the one. Right, we're in the thunder track. The lightning track is the opposite side of the building at the

back. If you're a speaker, present yourself at the green room. Ideally, 30 minutes before you talk would be great. In the middle room, you've got battlebots. If anyone wants to try and um hack a bot, break a bot. Uh you've got sticker store, you've got bookshop in there. We've got a quiet room and then there's a management work round table at sort of half 2 in there as well. So that's and then in the middle is your vendor hall. Next slide. We have got a sock village. So, they're going to run through different things in the sock at different times in the day. The first one's at 10:00. You have to go out of this building and out. It is on the

website. So, on the back of your name badge, you've got a QR code. If you don't want to use a QR code, we're not fishing you all, squishing you all. It's besides laner.org.uk.org. Just.org. They're completely funded by sponsorship. So if you get stuck up a mountain and other things, bowling mountains, go on mountain rescue as anywhere you can't get a land ambulance. So that's surprisingly close to towns quite often. Like you break an in a farmer's field, if the ambulance can't get to you because it weighs seven tons and road tires on it, probably. So yeah, more than just Yeah. And then the next one is the QR code, I think. So if anyone wants to donate, we

donated last year 5,000 5,000, but we as an organization are not giving anything this year. So you can all but seriously, it's one of one of the kind of things people don't give money, but like if you give a quiz, it sounds like nothing, but if everybody does that, it it's it's a huge amount of money to the organization. And um yeah, it cost £35,000 per year to run the team and it's entirely uh charity driven. Every single team member is a volunteer. Okay. So if anyone wants prayer space, this is on the website. Um there's codes to get into the rooms, the prayer spaces. Um it's in the program as well. Besides staff, I've got or besides

volunteers, we're not staff, we're not paid. Besides volunteers in red t-shirts, they can sign post you for this as well. Okay. Right. So, Thunder Stage in here. We've had a few changes, but this is the schedule for the Thunder Stage in here. Thunder is 30 minute talks. Lightning is 15 20 minutes talks. So, Cat is going to be our keynote at 10:00. And that's the rundown for today. We've had a few swaps. Craig hasn't lit today. The schedule is liable

to change because it's an event. These things happen. Like if somebody suddenly decides they have food posing, we can't do anything about it. Um the schedule on the website will be updated. So if we need to move things around or whatever. So um besides laner.org/schedule will get you whatever changes are happening live. This should be pretty accurate now though. Hopefully. You've said it now. I've said it now. So, that's the sock village. Um the the next slide is the map, but that's what you can expect in the sock village. There's four different things that they're doing. Um Raph and Mel are running that for us. It is only like a 2-minute walk, I believe. It's the

building opposite this building. The fact that some of you all need a map, right, stand at the front door. It's that building opposite. But next slide is your map. Is there a map?
