Special Announcement - Sheriff Mansour - OpenCRE introduces ChatCRE

hey everyone uh so Google has a sorry OAS a new open- source uh project in collaboration with Google it is both an open- Source uh project and uh a website that is essentially a generative AI uh bot but it's grounded with um uh information security knowledge bases so oos nist uh PC I and so forth so it answers uh security related questions grounded um by these knowledge bases um and also powered by large language models because OAS is an vendor neutral organization it's multinodal so it can ping Google Palm or it can ping uh uh openi or other models as well um and uh it's now live uh this is important for a couple of reasons the first one is uh

it's a good good showcase for um uh developers and Engineers if they want to do something right it that helps accelerate that um also um as Eric mentioned about supply chain issues uh data supply chain is going to be important so it's also equally important to have an open source and curated uh data set that we also figure out how to secure and the final thing is the open and why we did that is the open sour Community the B sites and the OAS Community can run much faster than technology companies or companies in general so we would love you to try it out and we can't wait to see uh what you come up with uh Google very nicely uh
