BSides Boulder 2023 - Opening Ceremony

um if you haven't determined you're at besides Boulder thank you for being uh here and joining us today uh this schedule is just a little bit off because you know it's not 9 15. um so but this is the uh schedule for today there is a link on the besidesboulder.org website that also has the schedule screen we may or may not need to make any changes to the schedule but this is kind of the general uh flow of what we are doing today uh you'll see that after the 11 30 talk uh we will have lunch upstairs um uh yes I mean it's it's going to be there so it's going to be upstairs there are some Stars over here because

there that is when we are going to do a giveaway right before right after lunch and right before the first talk um after lunch and we will have to do we have okay for me real quick yeah just real quick thank you uh we will have you know like I mentioned a couple different uh giveaways including maybe right now um um we'll have one scheduled for right before lunch and then right after the closing or during the closing as it says giveaways let's see what else schedule can you read it if you need it that's the the QR code for the schedule there are uh it is posted a couple other places um around here

X's bathrooms and elevators as we talked about the uh bathrooms or at the end of the hall they're by the elevators so if you find the bathroom you will have past the elevator uh exits are clearly marked in case something happens and you need to just leave for whatever reason um yes rules don't be an ass and um no outside food or drink remember I was talking about that earlier I was told that many many times except bottled water in this room there is a workshop going on upstairs um this no food or drink does not uh does not refer to that room so you can have your lunch you can have your food you can have your drink please you know

be be clean but you know it is allowed upstairs uh if there's any issues if you have if you run into anything please find me uh or one of our great volunteers and we can help you out whether that's with parkings seriously I hope we got parking figured out uh it was kind of a pain I know or any other issues please let me know and then sponsors we have great sponsors um on a in a year where um not very many companies were able to sponsor this year we have a returning sponsor rule four which we're super excited to um to have there is a table upstairs with rule for swag there are a couple

people here from World War if you are interested in just you know talking to them and saying hey you know what what what's with the Fox on your logo um it's uh the the table is upstairs you'll find it uh and then we have Leviathan Security Group who is a new sponsor this year and we really appreciate their um their sponsorship as well let's see did I get organizers it's the problem with having one word slides we have a team of uh sixth grade organizers who are around if you see them thank them um don't thank me I'm fine but the other ones that are around here if you see them thank them and um yeah

and giveaways oh yes I'll do that right now but I haven't fanned out it should be fair-ish we'll get something for okay so this one is going to be for a hack the box subscription how's that does that sound good sounds good sounds good all right everybody have their tickets by the way they you know like you got them when you came in okay great uh all right we will get you out there we will get yes remember the issue sled sorry uh the ticket is uh two three three eight three six three yes no the uh the benefit is that you have to be present to win I forgot to mention that part earlier but that's the benefit
