and the Bulgarian community of information and cyber security specialists to be able to get acquainted with all the new things and trends that are currently relevant not only in Bulgaria but also in the world and on an international level. As the colleague said, they will be able to exchange ideas on this forum and each one will see at what level his knowledge is and what else he can gain and use from the experience of his colleagues with whom he participates in the forum. I would like to say a few words about the ongoing digitalization and the further acceleration of events over the past few years, as well as the constant evolution in the field of cybersecurity, which have a significant impact on the development of all

technologies. The demands and needs in this area are constantly increasing not only among specialists like you, but also in the everyday life. This forum gives us such a confidence that we will bring this in relation to cyber security in our everyday life and it will become an integral part of our life. The Ministry of Electronic Management in the government supports and implements this process not only in cybersecurity, but also in the digitization of the state, starting with laws, policies and state strategies and the operational protection of the state administration. As you all know, we have a law, we have a strategy for cybersecurity, we have a law for cybersecurity, we have a order with a minimum requirement for network information

security. All of that, and now the new MIS-2 is also released, that is, it is about to foreign to give clarity in relation to cybersecurity and cyber defense. Your knowledge and skills will be very necessary in the development of these regulatory documents, because without them it is impossible. Otherwise, there must be rules and these rules must be followed. The society and people must learn and be protected while following them. Another thing I would like to say is that today, during this forum, the first qualification round will be held, with the formation of the Bulgarian National Cybersecurity Team, with the official support of the Ministry of Electronics, which will be provided by our country, by the European Cyber Security Challenge. This gives us the basis to

be proud. We often call the young people the future of the nation, but in my opinion today they are the present. So there are many examples that we can give to young people, who are thanks to whom their energy, modern thinking and professionalism become true leaders of the society, which I wish them to come and take our places after the time. It is time to note and to remind all candidates that it is from this small country, whatever Bulgaria is, that the greatest discoveries of the past century are being collected, with a decisive importance for the development of science, technology, communications, business, culture and education. Bulgaria has extremely strong competitive advantages in the field of information and communication technologies, because we have a wonderful human potential and a traditionally good level of studying computer engineering sciences. We are not by chance in the UNESCO. Proof of this is that Bulgarian IT specialists are popular all over the world. The high-tech generation is demanding and innovative. I wish you the best for a worthy realization. I sincerely hope that we will be on a level and not

only with participation in the European Cyber Security Challenge, but also with the continuation of the establishment of a digitalized state administration. One note I want to make. I would like to add that when we started the electronic services, we wrote down the strategy for electronic management so that all of this could become electronic. We took steps and bought a supercomputer. The next step we take is digital transformation. I think it is artificial intelligence and it is slowly starting to enter our daily lives. Good afternoon from me, Mr. Maznev, Deputy Minister of Electronic Management. Dear colleagues, I see many people in the room, I know some of them. I want to specially congratulate Mr. Peter Kirkov, the National Cyber Security Coordinator, the organizers of this conference, colleagues from the Ministry of Electronic Management. There are our teachers in the room, there are students who are my students, there are many colleagues, professionals in the field who are fighting these problems every day. Let me, on behalf of our Rector, Professor Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, congratulate you on your arrival at our University. We would like you to feel comfortable in this conference. We are grateful to the organizers that they organize it for the second time in our University. For us, this is an honor,

a privilege and a great responsibility. because we are home-grown and we see our modest participation in the formation and maintenance of a society of cyber security specialists, which has an exceptional importance for both the business and the public sector, and in general for the entire country. This is what the people who are engaged in this activity, to get to know each other, to communicate, to exchange the latest news, to consult each other, to drink a coffee together, shows the development of a solid society, which in the event of a crisis situation, problems and so on, in all cases will be extremely useful. Our university has been actively developing its cyber security training in recent years. We have a very successful master's program in cyber security management. This year we

hope to start a bachelor's program in cyber security, of course, in the technical aspects, but more importantly in the management and organizational aspects, which I am sure you all know how important they are for an organization. Our university has been aware of the cyber security problem for several years. We have taken a number of actions related to our digitalization and responding to all the requirements we must respond to. I can boldly state that the National University of the State of Slovakia is a leader in digitalization among the universities. I state this quite responsibly. We try to always be on the edge of time, to do the latest new things. Of course, this must be taken into account when it comes to the security issues that you have all gathered

for. Without taking away any more of your attention, I would like to thank the organizers and sponsors once again. Feel comfortable in our university.
