uh conference of 2024 edition and uh just want to quickly pick your brain on your thoughts around cyber uh threats scape today how it is evolving. Uh maybe you can start with introducing yourself. Sure. I'm just fully excited for this today's event. I'm Pravin Kumar Mupali and I work for ITM international company and uh all the views expressed in this conversation is personal. Okay. So uh coming uh to the very first uh point I would want to check with you on what are your thoughts on the evolving threatscape in today's times. Yeah today we have lot of plethora of threats we have been speaking about data breaches ransomware and we're going to the next world with AI. So we also have

the AI poisoning which is also very much emerging with XGPT and UL GPT evil GPT. So the threat actors have been very much increasing. Additionally, we also have the much thing happening regarding the AI fishing which is also one of the thing and we also have the AI hallucinations also are happening. Awesome. Uh now that you brought up uh the topic of Gen AI uh can you tell us your experiences or implementing or if you come across any use cases of AI for enhancing cyber defense? Cyber defense is very much uh the vital part where the bad actors in the dark web are equipping themselves with uh what I mentioned about triple XGPT and GPT. So we should

have a separate cyber defense team wherein they can combat AI. So with AI can be leveraged in a positive way where they can build up lot of intelligence factors where time can be saved to combat the AI warfare currently. Awesome. Finally um what are your top uh three things that you would do to improve cyber security? Very good question and a tough question Ram. So to doing it uh many are now focusing on moving away from passwords to pass keys which is the next thing which is very much happening and that is one of the thing and also strengthen the AM practices is the second thing and uh access management. Exactly. Yeah. And the third thing also is very much how do

we ensure that we are fully patched but we have to see how we are doing the patching in a different way where we can also incorporate AI in patching. Awesome.
