uh looks like we're good so we got to thanks everybody for staying on to the last minute I know it's been a long day for some of you it's been long day for us especially um so before I start I've got some lost and found announcements so we found an inhaler a note a notbook and a USB key so if you think you've lost one of those and you can tell us the inhaler the USB key what it was the netbook what's on the netbook um we'll give it back to you U meet us afterwards in the Ops room so um seems like we keep growing every year we had a thousand registrations this year that's not

included the tickets at the door and by my calculations we're close to 850 participants over the course of the day so congratulations everybody it's just like we're keep growing and growing we're going to hit capacity I think soon at least for venue wise um so I've got some public announcements if the guy from who asked me to do who asked for a public announcement hello so very often we don't get the opportunity to announce these to the right kind of people so I'm going to take this opportunity fairly quickly EMF Camp the last batch of tickets is going on sale at 700 p.m. this evening um if you don't know what EMF Camp is it's very much in the vein

of the European conferences camping hacking um everything from Electronics to make it a Spoke um if you want to come along there will be a dedicated security track thiser um and a whole bunch of Hardware demonstration Labs that you might enjoy thank Co um additionally to that not listed there's um at the end of June there's bsides Ain uh they were walking around and giving out stickers here we have uh from our sponsors s dream uh hip and there's also a new hack at the end of the month if you going outside of the UK in the UK over the summer you've got besides Manchester and you've got Steel Con so you know we got lots of good

stuff going on so we're going to go to the prize giving so we had pre-event challenges um vinha and won the glitch bit challenge uh they're both not here so we won't show that next is MWR so MWR hard tooth challenges they have the pre-event challenge like they did last year thanks a lot and they had the DAT challenge so I'm going to invite them up to announce the winners and give out the prices thank you it should be it they'll turn it on on um so we have two prizes to hand out so the first is for the uh the pre-event challenge um we've got a yard stick one USB SDR device uh which goes to George

Warrington so if George can head up to the front we can hand him his prize

there we go thank you uh the second one we have uh the on the day challenge I'm sure most of you have seen the um the electronics board that we've had over on our stand we had quite a lot of uh of interest in that it was quite hard to get to it sometimes today uh so hopefully Gordon gray should be in the crowd somewhere we have a robotics kit for him oh there we go [Applause] keep thank you thanks for playing everyone thanks uh be before we carry on just one little Point um we did have the raffle go we do have a raffle later on last chance if you want to buy a ticket

I know a lot of you have been harassed by our team to buy tickets but the money is going to go to bernardos I will deliver it to the white hat rally tomorrow at infos SEC so if you have if you want a ticket last chances uh next the rookie track so I'd like to invite Renee up from Deep SEC who's going to give us some background or some what the challenges that he faced actually getting this voted on we had a hard time picking a winner because the quality of the rookie talks were very good this year again and they increase year by year so we have therefore honoral Mansions uh schom me is a close second

we couldn't decide we had a long discussion but he came close to first place we mention Oxana because we have never seen such a fast overcoming of nervousness within 10 minutes from a total nervous wreck to a perfect rookie having a talk answering questions perfect um we thank Kalen for giving us a hard time with his talk and his quality and for Port Hunter we have compliments for Showmanship he really started the rookie te first talk and it was impressive right from the start so we give a hand of Applause for those

guys and the first uh position goes to loard who [Applause] held he held an amazing presentation about hacking microcontrollers with almost 200 slides it was like watching a cartoon and I promise everyone could follow what he was talking about everyone really everyone and that's good work thanks Renee and congratulations
