hi my name is Aaron Guzman I focus in the field of IOT security and automotive security and hacking reverse engineering yeah besides Afton's experience great crowd everyone's willing to learn very collaborative I think I'm leaving with three new projects helping out in various ways reversing firmware finding bugs everything from smart meters to consumer device products and critical infrastructure see the community evolving every year several tools free tools the availability of training and resources the influx in interest in areas that once were maybe neglected or not looked at so much I'd say within mobile and IOT security maybe the embedded space are now areas of interest being that they're now you know have an impact in safety and privacy and are

gonna be the wave of the future with you know everything connected and for structure-wise vehicle wise and just society as a whole and with the community now being more involved and the influx in interested with development of tools and research exposing areas that weren't exposed before whether that be for industrial controls or automotive it's definitely a culture that's pushing for for an area that hasn't been touched before worldwide definitely you know here in Athens definitely in Los Angeles we have a lot of meetup groups you know even from here over in the UK there's more and more conferences each year each summer than there ever was and again with the different besides some are growing or outgrowing the b-sides name

for a good reason but it's also a vehicle in a platform to create more collaborative and learning environments again to help grow you know the experience and the expertise and kind of each region regions and universities and for the next wave of engineers
