foreign tation was basically to teach people how to set up their Network or how to study stuff to compete within ctfs which are capture the flags where they'll set up hey there's a flag on this machine you have to find this vulnerable way to get in that type of stuff the main point behind it is certain companies actually come to those type of competitions and watch as ways to find people and how they work with teams and get around that type of stuff so that they can look and see if that's going to fill you know the void in their corporation or Enterprise we were we were talking about setting up you know different databases of information

different ways to communicate with each other using certificates so that you know who's on your team all that fun stuff you're protecting your own team uh basically setting up team roles so you've got someone doing database stuff you've got someone doing OS stuff someone running the network and how to set that all up and capturing all of the data while you're there so that when you go back you can look at how other teams were doing stuff if you were able to capture that look at how you did it see if you can do it in a better way faster way so on our team we usually try to set it up so we have someone doing database

type exploitation we have OS type exploitation network type we also have a network Guru who's sitting there Manning the firewall and watching the network activity and going in and out and then we also have the noob to the team who goes and gets the drinks or researches stuff on Google so we try to come up with different positions so that each person is doing their own thing and then we also do training so that if Network guys out someone else can step in
