Drone Detection

what I want to do after this I want to try to put it into a neural network I'm going to take pictures of the drone fly so I'm going to train this thing I'm going to teach you what a drone is and what a drone is not and as it flies over my detector I can take real-time images and detect at that point because the drone flying about and then I get a right on keeping I'll keep teaching it or get it wrong until I worked it out to where it's accurate enough this is what I want to do with the engine so I want to put a detector fly this thing over so it's

coming in you know at this angle the century will swing in that direction then as soon as it passes over it it'll detect movement and then just start firing and see if I can knock this thing out of the sky maybe it's a bit ambitious but please throw rocks at and where I live these to shoot them down with shotguns I'm a northeast maryland alright so I mean if somebody has this type of background Electrical Engineering computer science or you're just interested in the project see me afterwards I like to talk to you about it I take any questions anyone have any questions for me my objective I mean you know you just buy to me knowing that drugs there what

three intervals you listed were like two feet six feet and twenty I could I'm not that tall so next time going to stay on my - to try to get and see how high I can fly the range is definitely going to be a limitation at my old job we did a drone photography for construction societies now the legal limit for that is foreign to be usually for construction site might be around 200 300 feet up which is a lot higher than 20 honestly you can't even see it sure so when I plan to do er I mean if it ever you know turned into something I think mounting sensors at different heights so I mean it could be trees they

could be on flagpoles you know they could be a different matter at different lights pulling it in different directions to catch them coming in or I mean while the legal limit is 400 realistically the one I have it was like a mid-range drone oh yeah so range is absolutely gonna be so sure yeah no it will it definitely well I mean that's just something I'm gonna have to deal with then you know I just a visit just a solution isn't the end-all be-all but it's good start you know for what right now to try to detect these things now some people are using frequency to try to detect this thing coming yeah right that's a hard

thing to do block right just didn't have you react to that lock so you just a frequency that it's on I could triangulate it that's definitely doable takes a lot of processing power do that any other questions did you do any other tests with that was the that was the Mambo I tried that parrot and I have a DJ out and they were they were starting at the same spots where I was saying was it exact but it was it was close these radar systems didn't have the capability to detect I don't think they do I don't think they can take something that small these things are pretty small I mean the parent the parents about 16 inches square so it's

that's pretty good-sized but I don't think it's possible to take that put the Mambo is about a third of that size yeah

I got one by Puccini right and doesn't have recording your picture thinking capability so that's another option I looked at to see if I can interfere so even if the drone flies flies over if it isn't taking any pictures are recording anything I mean outside of a client yet see like a helicopter or a plane or something like that what damage is going to do but if I could interfere with the taking a picture or the video I teach about yeah it's probably closer to the line Iowa's probably closer like 14 or 15 but still something like that has a pretty impressive range and they find hit what's going to erase it you don't even

need to continue to sit yeah well you can just crack the mission at bat range

so what I do is I went onto the Internet sound recordings already and then is an issue but I'm thinking that how many things are going to really fly I mean you heard a couple of insects at that play certainly planes and helicopters so I don't know how much they're out in there facing up I just thought if I had a profile to look for among all the background noise it's like you know if it looks for this exactly this is this is what it looks like you know and it just looks for that on most on the background is what you said once you get to I all you're gonna have a static it'll still be there but you're not
