Closing Remarks

so you did it you made through you know the first edition of beside barcelona uh it's quite an achievement so thank you uh it's not not all of us i mean but i was like a good chunk of people right still here so as you may imagine i mean this is the closing remarks um and uh you know we just start you know the usual uh thanks you know to everyone who make this conference possible we would like to start thanking our sponsors um i think you have seen them around right but you know we have some of them the all of them participated in a way on another to make sure that this event was was possible uh i would like

to name all of them uh we have sky scanner king critical stock uh sim press type form blue leaf background times those sponsor were the ones who basically you know contributed you know to you know making the you know this venue possible you know the coffee breaks and swags and and everything we also have all the sponsors that allow us to give you know some swags you know prizes that christian was disseminating around with challenges right we have been tested lab binary ninja pentester academy and not zero so after the sponsors i would like to start to thank um the volunteers i mean they were precious allies they basically allow us to run these conferences

smoothly um they started like 7 am this morning and they are still you know outside their mounting stuff and for sure they will stay here for a while so i would like to give them an applause for their effort

i also would like to to thank the the speakers of course i mean they uh not only the one who spoke today they have amazing content but they also like to thank all the you know the speakers or the people that submitted a talk they were not um then have not been choose to you know to present today we had unfortunately we had to make some cuts of course there were like an amazing i think they were like around 41 submissions and they were very good i mean they scored very well but we had to make a choice right i mean this is one day one track just like you know um some of them but you know the

one day they are here they flew in from pretty much everywhere in europe right when people from turkey people from the netherlands germany of course we have people here local but they made an incredible effort to be here preparing amazing talks amazing content and i would like to give them an upload thank you guys

i also would like to thank cooper that guy over there behind the camera so they make exactly exactly it doesn't need presentation right i mean if you're around the b side community you know that he's the official you know record man of you know this side and he flew from from the netherlands so it's amazing to have been here i also would like to thank um the other stuff right you'll have stuff starting from you know the guy behind the scene over there the visual technician that make everything possible a big round of applause for the guy over there and also the staff outside they provided you know coffee and also provide help on logistics that's great

um finally for you know last but not least we would like to thank you uh i know if you know a little bit about b side i think uh ian in the keynote already explained a little bit the spirit of besides and uh mentioning that besides is a community driven event so basically we are doing this because no we want to you know be cool or do some fancy stuff but because we believe in you we believe in the cyber security community that you know doesn't have any boundaries or any limits you know i i know people flying from all over the world actually i know people from the us were here and you know people like all

over the place in europe um i mean it's important to stress out the concept that we are doing this for you because you are beside we are here just to you know helping organizing but this event is for you so a bigger plus for you guys to be here and attend the conference so amazing qr code plus you know there is a link up there uh we really really you know we appreciate you if you can give us feedback right um there is a type form form as you may imagine right um we would like to know about you know what was working what was not working what did you like what did you dislike
