hello everyone I don't know I don't know how how you can come and speak after after the the guys but just just bear with me it is good that I'm not offering any uh motivational motivational uh talk I am just here to talk about certification a program right yeah so let's let's talk about this program right so if you're wondering what children micro is a generic results it's a cyber security focused company that has been around for more than three decades now we have more than oh we are we I'm not here to send you a solution I can say uh apparently not apparently we offer Solutions Security Solutions in and security whatever security industrial industrial things

and Industrial iot we're also part of uh because of this this is the security most people here are security Centric I think you've had auxiliary initiative assertion micro is behind the capitalizing the initiative which is a back Bounty program that has independent researchers which are from around the globe and also internal researchers we have seven more than seven thousand people I'm not going to say that it sounds very Market Department thank you so it's uh generally uh apart from being a security company uh training micro uh does some other initiatives to give back to the community for instance educating more than 50 000 smaller businesses in good security best good security basic good security practices and also more

than 5000 University students I bet there are some people here some students here who have recently completed the this program uh generator is behind that and in the general microclose makeup initiative technical has seen more than 400 cyber Security Experts go through the program and this is the problem that I have promoted we are promoting yeah so as as has been the theme uh the whole day they are lots of people looking for jobs but we do not have the ID the certification most most of us here have the basic education be it certificate with a diploma with whichever level it is most people here have that or even if you've gone through YouTube University like like Hillary

over there but when it comes when it comes to converting gas to finding a job that's where the hustle comes in right you find that as far as it is there are organizations that want you to have certifications but if you don't have a certification you don't get your fast food in the door you don't even get to to get a chance to interview with the company and then experience experience here you could look at it two ways it could be either the duration that you've been working or experience relating to other people because you know in work whichever whichever value you meet technical or non-technical let's say you're in sales you meet a lot of

customers you need to have um experience how to you need to know how to relate with people how to introduce yourself how to talk to people if you're not in sales you're in technical science you need to know how to relate with other people that you work with right so these are the important things that this particular program aims to uh sold right so the program itself is academic problem and the second edition that is happening in satire in Africa that is excluding the North African countries is starting from next year January to March which is attending program and the final week is a universal program where the participants from Nigeria Mauritius and South Africa have flown to Kenya so that

they can have a final week workshop and have fun have their graduation but yeah like I said and this particular program targets new graduates or professionals who are just starting out in their field so if you graduated recently or you're nearly graduating so if in the first quarter of next year you want to be exposed I you can you can apply for the for the program and if you're a young professional who wants to get your food in the door in inside possibility we can apply for the program and go through the whole time training so the training takes place from the morning around 10 a.m to at five five pm and if you're worried about asking for anything
