I just hit start streaming which I have now done and it should be streaming your cat yeah shows live hey there's a picture of a cat how's the size and everything is it good and clear um yes and if I do this and then this that should bring that up there can you recommend hiding or not hiding members I can hear myself hold on I gota make that go away die okay uh I actually recommend leaving it there because I if this was a normal if this was a normal deal there would be lights and a camera on the speaker and you can see here that theoretically somebody who's watching this on YouTube would then see a little

thumbnail of the speaker giving their talk hi I'm the speaker I'm talking directly to you the person in the behind that camera okay all right but all this stuff looks okay to you and when I so when I change things like the showing of people or not show nonv video participants like I just unlicked that so my like my box isn't showing for me does that affect your view or like let me send you here I'm gonna send you the video link and you can pull that up on another computer if you'd like yeah you can see what all of this looks like I will have another computer open and running uh with what's happening

live yeah like it I'm starting to think it might even be worth it to like make a second Discord account H maybe I can like on the other computer I can see what other people would be seeing without potentially interrupting something that I'm streaming because that is not my most favorite so this is wild to me like I helped do one of the the i e security and privacy like one of their days one of their workshops and um i e like they didn't know what their platform was like two or three days before the actual event right like they were still like working it out and um yeah so I basically was like all

right we're using teams because that's what our speakers have been practicing with like we're just doing that and our whole like so our whole Workshop was just like one teams meeting um I don't remember thinking like God this is so like thrown together and like ratchety but it also like it was so easy because it was just one link yep yeah we are doing it uh we are trying to take on as much of the chaos on ourselves as possible so that the speakers get to just do their talk all they have to do is talk to the camera or in the case of when they're doing their Q&A uhhuh how are they doing their Q&A

yeah the way they'll do that is you will unshare sorry you will share your video so that you are St you will be there as the audience proxy and you will host a five minute Q&A where you've been watching the Discord Channel and watching anybody ask questions and you get to ask those questions and just kind of keep the thing going for five minutes until you go okay that's the end of our time um thank you very much okay so so there will be I was able to get the YouTube video pulled up I can pause it and play it and there's like a chat in the YouTube and then people can chat inside of

Discord so of course discord's where I want people to chat but I I kind of got overruled on that one so yeah yeah it's this is been a very interesting like it's been interesting watching all these people try to work together it's been really fun yeah it's been it's been nice to cuz we we got to a reasonable place but uh um yeah it's these things are never all that smooth how do I all right any other thoughts or questions on what we have here because you got that set up and it's beautiful it worked like a charm I think I'm good um I probably I will just mess around with it some more just to alate my own
