after. >> Cool. Thank you. [snorts] >> Right. Um bear with me. I will try and get through all this as quickly as possible, but it is just mandatory. Um have to say a massive massive massive thank you. Uh today couldn't happen without our sponsors. So thank you to Baker McKenzie, Scitec, CME Group, Rapid 7, Cloud Smith, Teneal, State Street, Cyberfirst, Blackduck, uh, CET. Um, and I hope all of you guys come back next year. Uh, and more. Um, thank you. [applause]

I also want to call out some of our partners. So, the Battlebots, um, these guys come along voluntarily uh and just really enhance enhanced today. So the battlebots um Jacob with his kiosk uh the dragon slayers from Queens University provide a lot of equipment to us. PSNI um we normally have a tabletop exercise with them. We didn't have it this year but they'll be back. Um Farset Labs InfoscNI the Europa Cyber First um and Hey Market for after party later on. Um, so I also want to thank, let me see. Yeah. Um, so a few more thanks. Please bear with me. Um, but there are critical cogs in the wheel that Bides Belfast just cannot um,

happen without. So our sponsors have already shouted out to. Um, our speakers, thank you so much for all our incredible speakers today. Um, it's been a brilliant lineup and we're so grateful to you for for submitting h and for coming along. many have traveled um and speaking today. We've really really enjoyed the talks and really appreciated it. So, thank you. Uh and thank you to all the other people who submitted talks that didn't get selected. There were some more brilliant talks um but we just have a limited number of spaces. So, um hopefully you'll reapply next year um and get your talk accepted. Um I want to call out the organizers. So, um, the organizing team works tirelessly around

the year from about March, pre- March time to now. We're hopefully going to take a couple of months break. Um, and this is a labor of love for us. It's voluntary, but we absolutely thoroughly enjoy the day. We love the community. We love the conference. Um, and uh, we get so much enjoyment out of you enjoying it and of having a great day. Um the organizers are Kieran who was speaking earlier today, Bolster who any of the sponsors will have dealt with, Lara um who was on the front ticket desk most of the day and myself. Uh Katie was on registration earlier this morning and Grant um did a talk Katie did a talk as

that is a massive thank you to Jester at the back. Um, and Cooper who is not here. I'm not sure. Is Cooper in Netherlands? Yeah, Cooper's based in the Netherlands. He would have been at our first few years of bides. Um, and he travels all over the the place, but uh Cooper and Jester do this voluntarily. Uh, Cooper in the background will make sure they're all edited and uploaded for us. Um, so we're so incredibly grateful to you both for that. Um, and David supporting you today. Um, our volunteers as well. Well, we had a huge team of volunteers in the purple t-shirts today. Um, I can only see one. Uh, so on behalf of all of you

volunteers, thank you so much for all of your hard work today. It's really, really appreciated.

um the venue and staff here at the Europa. Um for anyone who doesn't know, we started Besides Belfast in 2016 um with 150 people here in the Europa. Um and we love this venue. We were here for a couple of years, we outgrew it. Um when on our third year, I think we hit 450 and we moved to the Titanic. Uh then we had a hiatus for COVID for a couple of years and then um with some structural changes they made here uh the Europa were able to accommodate us again and we were so thrilled to come back. We are so grateful for the spaces, the venue and the hospitality. They have been incredible, incredibly supportive,

um really professional and worked really hard with us today. Um, so massive, massive thank you to them. Um, on all of that and all of today, things go wrong, little things just don't go to plan. Um, it's a big event to run, but very much appreciate any and all feedback because we will have a retro. Uh, we will be looking at ways we can improve next year. Um, and anything that you have to say is taken on board. Um, and we do appreciate your perspective on the day. So, please send that in to us. Um, finally, thank you all for coming. Um, it also wouldn't happen without you being here. So, um, I know many of you

have taken taken a day out. It's not insignificant. So, I really hope you've enjoyed it. Um, and thank you again. Nearly there. Um, after party is happening at 700 p.m. Uh, if you don't have a wristband, Raj is hopefully at the just outside the doors here waiting with some leftover wristbands for anybody who hasn't got them yet. Um, check out other cyber security related events in NI, the OAS chapter, Infosc inc, and the NI cyber breakfast club which runs monthly at the end of the month and Thursday morning. uh and volunteer next year. Email us and get involved. Um and sponsor if you feel like it. Finally, before we go, some dates for 2026. We
