About this talk
CISO Panel Event - Christina Shannon, James Bowie, Brett Conlon, Larry Whiteside, Jr., Jatarra Warren, G Mark Hardy, and Timothy Youngblood This interactive CISO panel will walk attendees through a realistic AI agent launch and incident simulation. The scenario centers on a company under significant business pressure to improve service performance quickly during a critical period. Leadership pushes forward with the rapid launch of an AI agent into a high-volume service workflow to reduce backlog, improve response times, and automate routine actions. The first part of the session will focus on the controls, guardrails, and governance that should be in place when the business is determined to launch. The second part will shift into live incident response after the rollout goes wrong, creating customer impact, operational disruption, and executive escalation. Audience members will participate throughout the session using Poll Everywhere, helping surface stakeholder pressure and priorities in real time. The CISOs will then react to those pressures and discuss the controls, decisions, communications, and response actions they would expect in practice. This session is designed to be practical, engaging, and highly interactive, giving attendees insight into how security leaders think through AI risk, business pressure, and incident response in the real world.
